Army in UK has nowhere to go without a transport, does not move.

Fleet in NOR stays put to defend UK

US: While Chinese forces coordinate with the UK, the Pacific fleet moves to defend Hawaii, and troops ship off for Europe (or Africa).

Fleet and Army on transport in WCO moves to EPG. Army lands in Haw

Army on Transport in ECO moves to NAO (Setting up a possible invasion of Spain, France or Algeria next turn).

Sin, Chi attack Bur

Battles:

First, armies that meet in transit enter combat.

Combat results here are simply assumed for illustrative purposes.

German Fin meets Russian Len army. 1v1 fight. Russians win, force German army to retreat. Both German and Russian armies end up in Fin, and German army must retreat next turn.

German Ukr armies meet Russian Cau army. 2v1 fight. Germans win and force Russian army to retreat. All armies end up in Cau, with Russian army forced to retreat next turn.

German Lib meets UK Egy army. 1v1 fight. German army wins and destroys UK army.

Chinese Chi army meets Japanese Bur Army. 1v1 fight. Chinese army wins and forces Japanese army to retreat.

Now, fleet actions:

Coalition and UK fleets fight in NOR. UK fleet is destroyed.

Japanese and US fleets fight in EPG. Japanese fleet is destroyed on first round of combat, meaning on the second round the Japanese transport carrying the army is destroyed. The Japanese army never lands in Hawaii to fight.

And finally, battles in territories.

Coalition army (From Swe) battles Russian army (from the first transit battle) in Finland. There is also a retreating German army here from the transit battle, but it does not fight. 1v1 combat. Russian army destroyed.

German armies from Eeu and Cau battle Russian Fort in Len. 2v1 combat. Russian opts to use Russian winter ability. Russians do exceptionally well in the combat however, and send the Germans packing. Germany loses 1 army and the other must retreat next turn. Unfortunately, due to the use of the Russian winter, the Russian fortification is also destroyed.

2 German armies and 1 coalition army fight 1 Russian Army and 1 Russian Fort in Cau. There is another Russian army here, but it is retreating and does not fight. 3v2 combat. Germans win, the Russian fortification is destroyed, and the Russian army retreats next turn.

Coalition army battles American fort in Brazil. 1v1 combat. The Battle is a draw, and both forces remain there this turn.

Coalition army battles UK army in Persia. 1v1 combat. Coalition army wins, forcing UK army to retreat. UK uses special ability and opts to not retreat the army.

2 Japanese armies fight Chinese Fort in Chi. 2v1 combat. Chinese Fort is forced to retreat, and thus is destroyed.

Russian army fights Japanese fort in Man. 1v1 combat. Russian army destroyed.

Destruction and control

Germany is currently the sole occupant of foreign territories Len and Egy. The retreating German army in Len opts to destroy 1 population. The army in Egy opts to take control, and adds 1 to the tally. Egy has 1 production and 1 population, so if the German army remains here next turn and isn't pushed out, it will capture Egy.

Cau still has both Axis and Allied forces present, and thus remains under Russian control.

Japan is the sole occupant of Chi and FAR. Seeing Russia's vulnerability (there's only one fort between this army and Moscow right now), Japan opts to destroy a point of population in FAR, since he won't be staying there next turn to try to capture it. He wants to capture Chi, and has two armies there, and so he tallies two points towards its capture. Three more points will capture this 5-population territory.

The Coalition is not the sole occupant of any foreign territory, and thus cannot control or destroy anything.

The US has Chinese forces (along with UK forces) in Burma. However, due to the retreating Japanese army there, they cannot capture it. If the Japanese army were not present, the UK and US players would have to decide who became the owner of the territory.

The UK and Russia are also not owners of any foreign territories, and do not control or destroy anything.

The final population and production tallies for the turn are:

Russia: 22 / 10 (Lost Len and FAR)
Germany: 26 / 7 (Lost / gained nothing)
US: 23 / 10 (Lost Chi)
Japan: 26 / 7 (Lost / gained nothing)
UK: 27 / 9 (Lost Egy)
Coalition: 26 / 7 (Lost / gained nothing)

Current army status is:
Russia:
2 Army (retreating) Cau
1 Fort Yak

Germany:
1 Army (retreating) Fin
1 Army (retreating) Len
2 Army Cau
1 Army Egy
1 Fort Weu
1 Fort Ger
1 Fort Seu

US:

1 Fleet 1 Transport EPG
1 Army Haw
1 Army on 1 Transport NAO
2 Army Bur
1 Fort Sin
1 Fort Bra

Japan:

1 Army FAR
2 Army Chi
1 Army Bur (retreating)
1 Fort Kwa
1 Fort Man
1 Fort Jpn
1 Transport SOK

UK:

1 Army GBr
1 Army Per
1 Army Bur
1 Fort Ind
1 Fort Gib

Coalition:

1 Army Bra
1 Army Per
1 Army Cau
1 Fleet NOR
1 Army Lib
1 Army Fin

Research and building:

At the end of turn 1 Germany develops the Tiger tank. He opts to use one of his research points to increase the slow tank's speed by two levels (up to 8).

After the battle in Manchuria, Japan realizes that it needs a better way to deal with Russian tanks. They opt to use their research point to improve the power of their medium anti-tank gun by two levels.

Everyone else saves their research points for new units later.

Building:

Russia lost a lot of troops on attacks everywhere, and Germany is breathing down his neck. He opts to build a Fort and an Army in Moscow, and another army in Yak to stave off the Japanese, using all his production

Germany builds an army in EEu and 3 transports in BAL (using all 7 production), hoping to invade GBr next turn with his 'retreating' armies. His total population support needed for all his armies and fortifications is 27, and he only has 26, so a unit must die. He opts to kill the fortification in SEu.

US sees the imminence of China's fall, and so builds one more fortification in Sin (for 3 production since it's not the first on there). Note that he cannot build in Bra because it is contested. He takes advantage of his special ability to build an army in EUS (for 3 production), and a transport in ECO. If he wants, next turn he could land two armies in Col to hit the Coalition. Unfortunately this takes him above his population limit of 23 (He now has 1 Fleet, 6 Armies 3 Forts, which requires 31 population). Feeling the pacific is safe, he opts to kill the Fleet and Army in Hawaii. He saves 3 production for next turn.

Japan fears as US invasion (not knowing that the Fleet and Army have been destroyed), and builds a Fort on Wak to defend it's biggest island that is in danger. Wanting to press the attack on China or Russia next turn, he builds an Army in Man.

The UK has issues everywhere. It builds a Fort in FEq to try to slow down the Germans in Africa. It builds an army in India to try to fight against the Coalition. And it builds a Fort in GBr to protect itself from invasion. It saves 1 production for next turn.

The Coalition builds a transport in the BAL (to help invade GBr), and Forts in SAr, Spa, and Col to protect its valuable, but vulnerable areas.
